TO-MORROW’S SALE

The great sale of crockery, drapery etc., to take place in the Alexandra Hall to-morrow is exciting no small amount of interest, and wo shall be surprised if Messrs Hawkins and Co. do not put up a big record. Every line has to be quitted regardless of price. The sale commences at 12 sharp. HAWKINS & COMPANY'S WEEKLY REPORT. Messsrs Hawkins & Company report on Saturday’s sale as follows: Pigs, store. 15s 6d ; weaners, 5s Gd ; horses, at £10; poultry, ducks, Is Id; fowls, lOd; fruit, tomatoes, 8s; apples, cookers, 2d; dessert, 2fd. A line of boots and shoes were offered and cleared at satisfactory prices. The usual lot of vegetable were offered and disposed of. Owing to the bad state of tbo weather the line of prime meat usually offered aid not come to hand. JOHNSONVILLE SALE, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows:—A fair yarding of bullocks of prime quality sold keenly at 20s to 21s pet 1001 b, Beat bullocks £8 5s to £8 10s, others £7 to £7 17s 6d. A small yarding of sheep gold up to last week’s rates. Beat wethers 18s 2d, others 17s 81 to 17s lid, ewes 15s Id, shorn lambs lla I to 12s Bd.
