CASES IN THE TRANSVAAL. A WHOLE FAMILY HIES PROM THE DISEASE. Capetown, March 26. Forty seven Asiatics, four natives, and seven whites died of plague in the Transvaal. There are now seventy three suspected cases, including nine whites. March 27. Dr Marais and wife and three children have died from the plague at Johannesburg. Mrs Marais was a sister of J. B. Gillison, the London Manager of the National Mutual Life Association of Australasia. Dr Marais attended plague coolies.
