IN accordance with the Fifth Section of “The School Committee’s Election A -t, 1391 and 1903,” notice is hereby given that the Board cf the Education District of Hawke’s Bay has appointed 7.30 o’clock in the Evening as the time for the annual meeting of Householders, which will be held on MONDAY, the 25th day of April, 1904. The place of meeting will bo the SchoolLouse in each District. The number to be elected to each Committee mentioned in the First Schedule hereto is NINE, in those mentioned in Second Schedule hereto SEVEN, and in those mentioned in the Third Schedule hereto FIVE. The Householders within the several School Districts are hereby called upon to send in writing, by post or delivery, so as to be delivered to the respective Cha'vraen of the several School Committees not later that Eight o’clock in the Evening of MONDAY, April IStlj, the names of Persons being Resident Householders nominated by them for election to serve upon the Committee for the next year ensuing. And after the meeting of Householders, the Committee elected shall hold its first meeting, and thereat elect one of its members to be Chairman for the year.
