Since last April the following reduced rates for parcels was brought into operation on the New Zealand Government Railways:—

Dunedin, or Invercargill. E x Advertisements inserted by the month or quarter, and withdrawn at any time before the expiry of a monthly or quarterly period, are charged feu as if inserted for the foil tent. Alterations for standing advertisements should be handed in by 2 p.m. the day before they are required to appear. Instructions as to the insertion or withdrawal of advertisements in the Examiner must be in writing. Advertisements received without such instruction will be inserted nntil countermanded, and charged accordingly. Notice to withdraw advertisements must be given iD wricing not later than day before issue. Advertisers and subscribers can remit payment fcy money orders or postage stamps. For the convenience of advertisers replies to advertisements may be sent to the Examinee Publishing Office, but che Proprietors do not accej t any responsibility. While- every care is exercised in regard to the due insertion of advertisements, the Proprietors do not hold theraselves responsible for the noninsertion through accident or from othei causes; and the Proprietors reserve to themselves the right of omitting advertisements chat they may deem objectionable, even although such advertisements may have been received and paid foi in the usual course of business. A liter?ry communications should be addressed to the Editor, and all corurnuniiations relating to matters of business to the Manager.
