Palmerston, June 27. Mr M. Henry reports : The pens were fairly occupied to-day with sheep and cattle, composed chiefly of small lots. The attendance was very good, but the tone of the market was not quite up to last sale, with the exception of wethers and strong weaners. A fair number of cattle were disposed of, and all sheep cleared at quotations:— Cattle. —lßms steers, L2 11s; yearlings, 32s ; w’oauiOfs, 18 s 6d to 20s; forward cows, L 4.
