Freeman E. Jackson and Co.'s Wanganui stock report is as follows: The rough weather prevented a number of advertised stock from coming to the yards. We Bold what were penned at current prices. We have enquiry for good useful wethers and shorn lambs. Cattle —At Waverley: Cows, £2 5s to £3 14s. At Wanganui; Milch cows, £4 10sto £4l7s 6d; yearlings, 22s ; 18-month cattle, 375; 3-year steers, £3 10s. Sheep—At Waverley: Wethers, 7s 9d to 8s 6d; lambs, 4s. At Wanganui: Fat wethers, 9s ; stores, 7s lid ; fat ewes, 6s 6d to 7s; others, 4s 4d to 5s lid; 2-tooth ewes, 7s lOd. PigsSmall baconers, 283 to 81s; porkers, 15s to 20s; smaller pigs, 9s to lls6d.
