The Baptists are making progress in Woodville. The Kev J. Hinton preached in the Schoolroom on Wednesday evening to a good congregation. It has been arranged to have monthly services in future. Owing to the fact that artioles have lately been missed from Te Aro House and Miss Hamilton's shops, Constable Treanor to-day topk out a search warrant and found the goods allege 1 to have b een stolen in the residence of Thomas Sexton, of McLean Street, Woodville. He thereupon arrested Mrs Thomas Sexton and her Bister, Laura Wicks. They will be oharged withtha offence.
