Fire Brigade Competition.
On Wednesday night the Fire Brigade ran off the second event of the five-man manual competition, for B. E. Grinlinton's trophy. The following are the results : No 1 team:—Captain Babone's team won ; time being 50 3-5 sees., and 6 sees, penalty. No 2 team :—1 min 2 sec, and 8 sec. yen-tlty. No. 3 team :—SO 4-5 sees., and B sees, penalty. Lieutenant Barkwith and Fireman Mann were the judges. Mr J. Chicken kindly acted as t ; me-keeper.
