Whooping Cough.
This complaint is very prevalent in Woodvilla at present. The following remedies are highly spoken of as affording relief:— Mix together half a pint of rum, two tiibleFpoons full of salad oil, half a pound of honey, the yolks of two fresh eggs, and the" juice of two lemons. A spoonful to be taken whenever the cough is troublesome. Half pound linseed, one cup of honey, hall a sick good licorice, half a cup sugar, boil for three hours. Then strain. When cold three desert-spoonfuls three times a day. Small cup of honey, small teaspoon ot powdered resin, melt resiu and mix well with honey. 1 tcaspoonful three times a day.
