It is proposed to start this trip from Nelson, at which port passengers from Auckland and Taranaki would join, and from this to call at Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, Bluff, Port William (Stewart's Island), Preservation Inlet, Milford Sound, and such of the other Sounds of the West Coast of the Middle Island as may be found desirable. The excursion will then return to Nelson, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers, landing passengers at their respective ports of embarkation. The complete tour of round the Middle Inland thus completed will, it is anticipated, occupy about a fortnight. The steamer will be specially prepared and equipped for the occasion. The handsome and capacious fore-cabin will be fitted up in every respect equalling* the Saloon accommodation, while the latter will in preference be Teaerved to ladies. A double staff of stewards tvill be engaged, and neither trouble nor expense will be spared to ensure the comfort of passengers in a style never before attempted in New Zealand. No cargo will be carried, and the ship will be exclusively devoted for the purposes of the' excursion as no other passengers will be taken during the trip. As the number of tickets to be issued will be limited by the number of berths in the ship, it will be necessary to make an early application to the various agencies the company. Ab soon as the required number of cketß is taken up, the precise date at which the excursion will leave will be published. Price of tickets, £15. For all further particulars, apply to CHAS.
