SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. THE SPRING AND SUMMER TRADE. J. M'DOWELL & CO. BEG to inform their customers and the inhabitants of Wellington and of the surrounding Provinces that thj'ir first aeries of shipments have arrived, and are now being opened up, and will be exhibited on SATURDAY, 27th SEPTEMBER. Having made arrangements with some of the best manufacturing houses in Great Britain and Ireland, their stock for the season will contain many items of a novel character, the stock being selected with great care and judgment by buyers thoroughly acquainted with the requirements of the New Zealand trade. Wish to add that their growing trade having necespitated a still further increase in their imports, their first shipments will be found to contain a much greater extent of stock and larger variety than hitherto, at very moderate prices.
