The s.s. Omeo left Melbourne at 1.30 p.m. on the -11th inst, and passed Swan Island at 6 p.m. next day, and the Solander at 10 p.m. On the 16th, arriving at the Bluff at 6 a.m. on the 17th. Experienced moderate westerly •winds and squally weather, with a falling barometer, until the 15th, then 200' miles from the New Zealand coast, glass standing at 28.90; prepared ship for a heavy gale from same quarter. The wind, however, hauled round to the eastward ; - moderate to the Bluff. Sailed from thence at 5.30 p.m., and bad fresh N.E. winds, with head sea, till arrival in Port Chalmers j sailed at 4 p.m. on the 21st, and reached Akaroa at 11.30 a.m. on the 22nd ; left at 1 p.m., arriving at Lyttelton at 5.30 p.m. same day ; left at 1 p.m. on the 23rd, and arrived at Wellington at 6.30 a.m. yesterday. The e.s. Napier sailed for Wanganui on Tuesday- night with a full cargo of general merchandise and a few passengers- We notice that she left Wanganui last night for Wellington, and omypherefore be looked for about midday. From advertisement we observe that she sails for Foxton to-morrow.
