John Smith, alias Timothy Beardon, for this offence, wns dismissed with a caution, as ho had boon locked up sinco 3aturday night. Thomas Murray, alias Tommy the Shoemaker, for being drunk and resisting tho police, was fined 20s, or, in default, sentenced to forty-eight hours' imprisonment. He received a severe caution on account of former transgressions of a similar nature. ASSAULT. Adam Glroat, for assaulting a constable, wa» fined 20s or forty-eight houi'3.
