It has been intimated to us that those who have been entrusted with addresses to Sir George Grey are expected to meet together at the Town Board Office to-day at two o'clock, from whence they will proceed in a body and reach Government House at half-past two, thehourfixed for the reception of addresses by his Excellency. As his Excellency always studies the public convenience, the addresses will no doubt be presented to him under the verandah of the Government House, by which means the public will be able both to see and hear all that goes on. All the good folk of Wellington who can attend at the ceremony may either assemble outside the Government domain or in the neighborhood of the Town Board Office. We need scarcely say that the larger the number present the more gratifying will it be to all concerned. In addition to the address passed by the public meeting held on Monday, addresses from the Freemasons and Odd Fellows will be presented, and, it may be, from other public bodies also.
