WOOL EEPORT.
The third series of colonial wool Bales terminated on the 21st September. The total bales catalogued was 143,000. The attendance of home buyers was good, and the prices realised were equal to average rates. The May and June scries of Sydney and Port Phillip wools were in large supply. Choice flocks were scarce, and commanded extreme rates ; inferior, Ist (?) lower than lasfc sales. Late rttes for scoured were fully maintained. Adelaide wool was not in demand. JN"ew Zealand found ready purchasers at a reduction of Id per pound. Manufacturers of woollen poods are fully employed, but only buy for immediate wants.
