ARRIVAL OF THE SHIP WEYMOUTH FROM LONDON.

Tho clipper ship Weyinouth, Captain Norris, from London, arrived in this harbor on Tuesday last, aftor a quick passage of 93 days. She loft tho Downs on the Ist of April, with a fair wind, which continued until she was abreast of the Island of Maderia. Crossed the line on the 28th of April, and ran down to 49 dog. south, la lat. 2 deg. 5 mm. north, long. 28 dog. 58 mm. west, spoke the ship Virginia, of Bath, bound to Rio de Jauario, 34 days out from Liverpool. On tho Bth of May, a seaman, named Andrew Martin, fell from the flying-jibboom into tho sea, and was unfortunately dt owned. The ship was immediately hovc-to, the life-boat lowered, and notwithstanding there was a heavy sea on at the time, and the night was dark, every exertion was made to recover tho missing man ; but aftor a fruitless search of an hour and a half sho proceeded on her voyage. She sighted the Otngo Heads on the 24th Juno ; but in consequence of contrary winds was unable to make this port until the 2nd July. Experienced very heavy weather from tho Cape, with high cross sea, and sustained some damage. Threo of her boats were completely smashed, nearly all her port railing carried away, aa well as her main-topgallant yard, and her Bky> lights considerably damaged. Sho brings 48 passengers, who have all arrived in good health, and speak in high terms of tho kindness of Capt. Norris, and his officers, during tho voyage. Whon tho vessel dropped anchor, the passengers assembled on the poop, and gava Captain Norn's throe hearty cheers. One birth occurred on board during tho -voyage, a passenger of tho name of Mrs. Norris having been safely delivered of a son. The Weymouth is an iron clipper built ship, she brings a large cargo of assorted merchandise, and is consigned to Messrs. Johnston & Co. - Sho has brought tho submarine cable for Cook Strait. 20 sheep were put on board previous to leaving London, but seven died on the passage.
