NELSON.
The ' Nelson Examiner 1 supplies the following commercial news : — Since our last report tho local trade of Nelsoii has remained dull, though the demand for goods for the West Coast has rather improved. Stocks of all kinds are only moderate, but a vessel from England, now due, will on her arrival fully satisfy the market with most articles. Bacon and butter are in such large demand for the West Coast, that these articles have become somewhat scarce. Tho flour market is heavily supplied. To the stocks already on hand we have to add the arrival of the Ann Catherina, on tho 9th, from. Valparaiso, with 14,000 bushels of wheat for Mr Saundcrs ; and in a few days we shall see tho Mary and Edith, from the same port, via Wellington, with Chillian flour. The price of the latter article in our market is now £20 a ton, while best Adelaide flour commands £23.
