London, 26th Dec. Consols, 91 £ to $ for money, and 91$ to f for account, i'he Buuk of England's discount rate on 3rd December to B percent, was reduced on the 24th December to 7 per cent. Money is plentiful. The pressure entirely over. Trade is sound, and credit is good. The general discount market is easy. Colonial Government securities, New South Wales Five per Cent. 1866, 100 10 102; do. iB7l to 1876, 101 to 102 ; do, 1888 to 1892, 10l£ to Jo 2£ ; Victoria Six per Cent., January and July, 107 to 109 ; do, April and October, 109| to 11O£, New Zealand Six per Cent ,110 to 112. The London Chartered Bunk of Australia has declared a dividend of eight per cent., after cai* rying £5000 to the reserve fund, which now amounts to £75,000. The exports to Melbourne and Geelong for tbe muntb show a decrease of £83,399. To New Zealand the month's exports amount to £170,105, against £148,093 in the previous month— increuse£2o,ol2. To Adelaide the month's exports amount to £92,283 against £69.992 in the preceeding month-— increase, £22,291.
