The Wonga Wonga, Captain Rentier, sailed from Wellington on Friday, the 28th ult.. at 4 p.m. and j experienced strong E.S.E. winds during the firat part of the passage. Arrived at Castle Point on Saturday morning, at 7a. m., landed cargo and passengers, and sailed again at 9 a.m. axperienced light easterly weather during the remainder of the passage, and arrived at Napier at midnight. The contemplated excursion to the Kidnappers did not take place. Left the iron rot on her return at noon of the 3rd, when the Robert Lowe bove in sight. Spoke her at 1 p.m., and arranged to land the troops, steamed alongside about 2h. 30m, p.m., and made fast; but in consequence pf the heavy sea setting into the 1 Bay, the Wonga rolled so heavily, that Captain Rennerwas obliged to drop off after slight damage to the hull and rigging, when the Bignal was made on the Spit to put to sea, the barometer indicates bad weather, she then proceeded on tbe voyage under sail and steam. Had a strong breeze and heavy sea from tbe eastward, during the next eipdat hours. Arrived at Castle Point at 7 a.m., landed the mail, and sailed again at 8 a.m. Had light variable winds as far as Cape Palliser, when she mot with a strong N. W. gale, and arrived in this' harbour jat 5 a.m., on" Saturday the sth instant. Saw the following vessels :— a small fore-and-after, off Flat I Point; a top-sail schooner, supposed to be the Salopian, off Pahau, b6und Nortb ; the Swift, off Cape Palliser, at 6 p.m., on Friday. The cutter Satelite arrived at Napier on Thursday last, at 2 p.m.
