I was told that nothin x oonld be done for me, and that mv case wa? hopeless. At last, I was obliged to quit the police force at Liverpool, and come to London ; I was admitted into St. Bartholomew's Hospital, oven them I obta'ned no relief whatever, and was ultimntely persuaded by a friend to try Hollowny's medicines. These effected a perfect cure in six weeks. — London. January 30. 1859. In similar cases it is earnestly recommended that the Ointment should be very effectually rubbed into the chest, stomach, aud on the right side, keeping them covered with a cloth, hiokly spread with the Ointment. Scorbutic Sores and Skin ' Diseases. ' This famous Ointment has the merit of effecting cures that are really thorough and permanfint, because it penetrates the system just as salt penetrates meat, and has a sanative effect up in nil the , fluids of the body.
