GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
The following proclamation has just been le ceived per Airedale from Aueklund. moolah \tion. By His Excellency Thomas Gore Browne, Companion of the most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commandei-in-Chief, in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand, and Vice Admiral of the same. &c, &c. Whereas the General Assembly of New Zealand now stands proiogued sine 'die. Now therefore, I the Governor, in pursuance of the authori'.y in me vested in that behalf do hereby announce and proclaim that the said General Assembly sh.il! assemble' for despatch of business on Thursday, the 3cd day of May next, at 2 o'clock, p.m., in the General Assembly House, at Wellington, and the Members of the Legislative Council and Hoifse of ltepresentatives, respectivoly are hereby ruou-rud to give their attendance at the same time and place accoidingly. Given under my hand and issued under the puhlic seal of the Colony of Now Zealuni l , ut Government House, Auckland, this 2olh day of January, in theyear of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty.
