Patten. At a Meeting held at the " Coach and Horses" Hotel, this evening, (16th January,) hy adjonrn ment from a preliminary meeting held on the 14th iustnnt. Mr. Owen (in the absence of Mr. Hunter) in the chair. It was proposed by Mr. T. W. Piloher, and seconded by Mr. Rowlands " that the Anniversary Regatta consist of the following Sports," cai-ried unanimously. f FIRST RACE. " \ .; Cargo Hoats of any description not exceeding 30 ft. Keel, over 30 ft. to allow i minute per foot. Entrance £1 Is. "' ■ Fim Prize £ • Second Prize £ Dikgies ok Ships Cutters not exceeding 22 ft. keel, over 22 ft. keel to allow 1 minute per foot. No sliding keel boats will be allowed to enter. All racing boats shall keep the flag boats and other distinguishing marks on the port hnnd. All boats may cnrry any and what sail they please, but will not be allowed lo use oars, or throw ballast overboard after starting. Boats on the port tack to bear up for boats on the str— board tnck. floats i:< Mjiuj free to keep, away for boats on a wind. Any boat wilfully fouling another to to be considered distanced. All boats must hr.ye all sail on deck at the fr.e of the firing of the gun for startin". The-gun for starting will be fired precisely at the hour named. Disputes occurring in any race must be made known to the Judges at t'.ie conclusion of the race. .The decision of the Judges iv all cases shall be final. In drawing for Stations, No. 1 will take choice and the rest in rotation. Entrances for the various races received by the Treasuier at the " Coach and Horses" Hotel, until lVonday, the 23rd instant, at 10 o'clock am.
