#>n Thursday Inst, the 12th inst., Messrs. Smith and Co. sold for Messrs. W. and G. Turubull & Co., at their Stores, Lambton-quay, an extensive assortment of general merchandise, consisting of iron, earthenware, beer, wines, spirits, pavement, Jfenoiog wire, oilmen's stores, dried fruits, &c. There was an excellent attendance, and the bidding w» very spirited. A large quantity of «ood» passed the hammer at satisfactory rates, bat which are too .to particularise.
