WHEREAS, numerous complaints have been made at this Court of damage done to Gardens and other Enclosures, by Cattle wandering at largo: This is to give notice, that the police are iustructed to inform against any person, whose cattle shall, from and after the first day of June next, be found wandering at large in any street, or public place within the limits of the Town of Wellington. By the Cattle Trespass Ordinance, Session 7, No. 17, the Owner of any horned or neat cattle, Horses, Mules, Asses, Sheep, Goats, and Swine, is liable to forfeit any sum, not exceeding, five shillings, for every head of such cattle found wandering at large in any street, or public place within the limits of any Town, or Village which shall be proclaimed, by His Excellency the Governor, to come within the operation of this Ordinance.
