By Ills Excellency Edward JohnEyre, Esquire, Lieiitenaiif-Gover-L. s. nor of the Province of J\"cw Munder, in the Islands of New Zealand, §c, §c, §c. WHEREAS, by an Ordinance passed by the Lieutenimt-Govomor of the Province of New Minister, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, Session 1, No. 9, intituled " An Ordinance to increase the cflicieney of the Constabulary Force," it is enacted, that " the provisions of " this Ordinance shall immediately be in " force within such limits of the Town of " Wellington, as marHd on the Map of " the Surveyor-General of the New Zca- " hind Company, as the Licntenant-Go- •' vernor with the advice of the Executive " Council may proclaim " Now, therefore I, the Lieutenant-Go-vernor of the Province of New Minister, aforesaid, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,do hereby proclaim and declare that the hereinbefore in part recited Ordinance, shall come into operation within the limits of the Town of Wellington, as laid down in the Map of the Surveyor-General of the New Zealand Company aforesaid, from and after the date hereof.
