This includes household and garden re; use, hedge clippings or ashes. The prohibition also applies to the burning of such refuse on a street. The By-laws will be rigidly enforced and any person found so offending will be prosecuted without further notice. It should be noted that dumping of rubbish not only makes the streets untidy, but is also liable to cause damage to Council machinery which is the property of the ratepayers. I. R.
