Appeal Commended
- 'X' x In deicding to make a grant of £lO to aid the Cancer Research Campaign, the Waipa County Council last Monday expressed its appreciation of the objective and commended the appeal to individual ratepayers and residents to make personal donations. The council took the view that it should not depart from its general policy in the matter of public body donations, but the virtue of the object deserved a special vote.
