BASKETBALL
PAEROA WINS A AND B REP MATCHES
Representative basketball matches played last Saturday between Paeroa and Waihi resulted in wins for Paeroa in the A and B teams, Waihi wiuning the C and D matches. The A game showed very fast play, fairly even on the whole, with the score finishing at 22 to 16. Next Saturday two senior games will be played at 2.15 as follows: St. John A v. High School B (referee, Mrs Radford); Old Girls v. High School A (referee, Mrs O’Shaughnessy). Mataura and Convent A will not play but should attend a meeting to be held after the games to arrange about representative teams for Rotorua.
