So far, Comrade Stalin, we have not made any headway with the sowing! Here, says Stalin, you have the psychology of the talkers they have mobilised themselves—they have put the question squarely soon there will be a turn —and, there is some indication of progress; BUT, THINGS REMAIN AS THEY ARE. Comrade Stalin says if these talkers are allowed to remain in responsible, executive positions, they will drown every living cause, in a flood of watery and endless speeches. We believe, with Comrade Stalin, that “deeds, not words ’ are the essence of the contract; that it is not he who saith, but he who doeth that counts, in war as in peace; that “work is the only worship,” that “earnest effort is the only prayer that ever was, is, or deserves to be answered”; likewise in war as in peace; we believe that “Social Service” is the way of salvation —the only way, and that all the rest is but “dreams out of the ivory gate and visions before midnight.” This being so, it is our earnest endeavour, our religion if you like, to serve you so you will return to your wigwams, feeling that it was good to have been with us.
