WAIHI BOWLING CLUB

PLAY IN- PERCENTAGE FOURS RECORD ATTENDANCE The games for the percentage fours were played on the Waihi Bowling Club’s greens in ideal weather on Saturday when the muster of local players was a recoi’d for the club, no less than sixty members taking part. Every rink was occupied and the green was in first-class,, condition, some very fine bowling being seen. Competitions in the A grade championship and president’s pairs will commence during the week and some hard-fought games are expected to result. These games usually bring to light some hidden talent and improve the standard of play of the club.
