NEW REST PARK

AREA IN ROSEMONT ROAD Messrs J. p. Gamble Ltd. wish to inform the public of Waihi that the section adjacent to their shoji in Rosemont Road is now available as a rest park. The use of this property has been generously granted by the National Trading Co. of N.Z., Ltd., until the company requires the- section for building purposes. Seats have been donated by Mr S. Bonnice and Mr S. Middlebrook, and grass seed was provided by the Waihi Hardware Co., Thomas and Olphert, Wallace Supplies and Wright, Stephenson. Acknowledgement is given of the help accorded by the Waihi Borough Council in allowing the borough engineer, Mr F. G. Bourke, to supervise the .work, and for supplying labour to assist in erecting a fence. More seats are needed, however, and the assistance of other well-intentioned townspco* pie in helping to improve this webcome addition to the rest-areas in the borough will -be appreciated.
