ACADEMY THEATRE

CURRENT PROGRAMMES Hailed as the most elaborate as well as the funniest of the Abbott and Costello starring comedies, Universal’s “Ride ’Em Cowboy” will be screened at the Academy Theatre to-night, to-morrow and on Wednesday. Headliners in the large supporting cast are Dick Foran, Anne Gwynne, Johnny Mack, Samuel S. Hinds, The Merry Macs and Ella Fitzgerald. Backgrounded against an Arizona “dude” ranch, “Ride ’Em Cowboy” is said to contain everything necessary in the way of parade grounds for the' antics of the two stellar comedians, including Indians, rodeo aces, bucking broncos, wild steers and feminine pulchritude. Among the players are a bevy of bathing beauties and the seven most beautiful cowgirls in the world.
