WAIHI STOCK SALE

MEDIUM YARDING OF CATTLE COMES FORWARD KEEN COMPETITION MET The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company Limited reports that at its Waihi stock sale last Thursday, a medium yarding of cattle came forward to meet keen competition at prices fully up to late ruling rates. The advertised dairy herd on account of Mr R. Radford met brisk bidding. The cattle were showing well forward in-calf, and spirited bidding from a full bench of buyers ruled, a very good sale resulting. The herd averaged £9 7s Gd. Farm horses also sold well. Quotations:—
