Shortly after midnight last night the Reserve Bank Bill, placing complete control of the Reserve Bank in (ho hands of the Government, was introduced and read a first time in the House of Representatives. Several amendments (o the Land and Income Tax Bill, the chief of which exempts (lie pay of members ot tile Special Force from income tax, whether they are serving within New Zealand or overseas, were adopted.
