SATURDAY'S TRACK RACING RESULTS TWO WINS FOR A. MOFFATT The Waihi Cycle Club held a successful race meeting on its cinder track on Saturday afternoon, when weather conditions were favourable. tho events were well contested and good times were recorded. Appended are the results: —
Half Mile Handicap: W. Kingsford, scratch, 1; A. Moffatt, 40yds, 2; 11. McWilliams SOyds, 3. Time 1 min 4 sees. One Mile Handicap: H. McWilliams, 200 yds, 1; W .Kingsford. scratch, 3; D. Kingsford, scratch, 3. Time 2 min 16 sees. Two Mile Handicap: A. Moffatt, 50yds, 1; 11. McWilliams, 300yds, 2; W. Kingsford, scratch, 3. Time 4 min 33 sees. Three Mile Handicap: A. Moffatt, 100yds, 1; W. Kinsford, scratch, 2; D. Kingsford, scratch, 3. Time 7 min 4 sees.
Splendid nominations have been received for the club's Easter carnival, to be held on Saturday next, and given line weather a large attendance may be expected as quite a number of prominent outside riders will compete. There will also be races and lollie scrambles for the kiddies.
