SUGGESTIVE OF SUICIDE
HOSPITAL PATIENT WITH THROAT CUT SENT NURSE FOR A DRINK By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, this day. In circumstances suggestive of suicide, Peter Brennan, a patient in the Wellington hospital, was found dead with a wound in his throat last night. Deceased, who was a farmer at Ahura, near Taumarunui, asked a night nurse in the ward to get him a drink and when she returned she found him dead wtih a gash in his throat and a razor alongside him. Brennan, who was 43 years of age and single, was operated on for an ulcerated stomach on Thursday last.
