SEDITIOUS CONSPIRACY?
ARREST OF ALLEGED COMMUNISTS CHARGES TO BE MADE By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, this day. Several men, alleged to be members of the Communist Party in Wellington, were arrested on warrants by the police yesterday, and will bo charged with being in possession of seditious literature. It is understood that the arrests were made as the result in the seizure of books documents and pamphlets in a police raid in the city on June sth. On that occasion the homes of two men were searched on warrants issued on allegations ol a seditious conspiracy. The literature was handed to the AttorneyGeneral for his decision as to whether it was seditious under the Act.
