LABOUR DAY
WAIHI POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS Monday next, October 26 (Labour Day), will be observed as a holiday, and all mails to be despatched on that date will be closed at 8 a.m. Street receivers will be cleared at 7.15 a.m. The private-box lobby will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The telegraph office will be closed, and the telephone exchange will be open only from 9 to 10 a.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. On Saturday, October 24, a delivery of correspondence will be made at the Post Office counter from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
