Recent explosions among domosfTo coal have apparently boon explained by the discovery of fifteen detonators in a cargo of British anthracite coal in a bargo on tho way to Paris from Rouen. Thy theory is that when tho detonators fail to explode the miners, instead of returning them to the store, discard them among hewn coal.
