THE PACIFIC MANDATES

Tho Hon. Et P. Lee, Minister for External Affairs, left by the Main Trunk express yesterday for Auckland, where ho will join the S.S. Tof.ua to-day en route to,Western Samoa. The Minuter will be accompanied on his visit by the Secretary of tho External Affairs Department (Mr J. D. Cray), and tho party is duo to arrive at Suva on June 29. at Nukulola on July 3. at Ha apa i on July 5, at Vavau on July’ (i. and at 'Apia on July 7. Mr Loo hopos to ho able to spend about a fortnight in, Apia conferring with the Samoan administration. officers o'’ the administration, native chiefs and representative,, of tho European population resident in tho island. He will return via Sydney, where he will consult, with Federal Ministers on matters relative to the mandates in the Pacific.
