“DADDY LONG LEGS"
“ Daddy Long Legs,'' the picture with which Mary Pick ford celebrates her advent in her own company, and which will be screened at the Academy Theatre on Monday evening next, is full of the most delicate and artistic imagery throughout. The wor’d’s favourite is seen at her best in two moods, humorous and sentimental, and in this production she creates a delightful character which is the embodiment of these two. Mary has surpassed herselt entirely in “ Daddy Long Logs." None of her previous pictures over gave her the chance she has in this. In none of her previous efforts has the exquisite blending cf pathoes and humour been carried to such a height of artistry.
