LOST OVERBOARD

STEAMER'S; SECOND MATE. FATALITY AT SEA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. While the steamer Rimu was proceeding from Onehunga' to New Plythe second mate, Mr Alfred Stanley Hill, single, oged 30 years, was lost overboard. The vessel cruised round about 'the scene of the accident for some time, but the sea was too rough to permit a boat being; launched. No trace of the officer could be found, and tho voyage had to be resumed.
