BROKEN HILL STRIKE
THE LOSS TO AUSTRALIA. (Australian and N.Z. Cable.J SYDNEY, this day. It is estimated that £10,000,000 liaa been directly lost in Australia as a result of the Broken Hii 1 ! strike, this being the approximate sum receivable from lead, silver, and zinc from'oversea when the mines were not idle. The wages lost by the employees is estimated at £7.500,000.
