Special to the Daily Telegraph) AUCKLAND, tuis d.y
The Government launch Nora sailed on Thursday evening to search the Alderman arid adjicent islands, where the missing "scow Kahu may have gone ashore. This search was authorised by Uic Marino Department, at the request of Mr W. C. Berridge, father-in-law of Mr Sampson, qwnpr ani engineer of the boat. The general opinion amongst the shipping fraternity is thnt the Kahu is probably drifting out to sea in a disabled condition. It would be impossible for her to go far with the small amount of oil fuel known to be on board.
