SOUTH AUCKLAND MEETING CONCLUDED RIFLEMAN SHOVE CHAMPION. AKARANA WIN THE TEAMS MATCH. Tlie South Auckland Rifle Association’s fourteenth annual prize-firing meeting was continued and concluded on the Wailii rifle range on Saturday afternoon. The championship wloat t)o Rifleman Shove, of the Akarana Club, who was always prominent in the match competitions, and wound up with an aggregate of 36A points. Rifleman Baird, of Frankton, filled the position of runner up with seven points less (358), and -Major Mterridess of Tauranga, came third with 355. The Akarana Rifle Club’s three teams fought out the issue in the Teams Match, the honours going to the C team after an oxaSti'ug.contest, with a bettor compiled 374 points than their comrades of the B team, who finished up with a like score, while the A team was only one point behind. The meeting was well conducted by the executive officers, and the details fn the hands of the secretary (Mr H. B. Dale) were efficiently carried out. The results are appended:—
