The New York Times' Washington correspondent states that Mr Daniels, Secretary for the Navy, has disclosed the fact that the navy has been p'.a lining a Transpacific flight with a lighter-than-ai r craft, \but that the reduction of the appropriations by the House Naval Committee may prevent the carrying out of the project.

Tho New York Times' Washington correspondent states that the dirigible I'S-l, which is expected soon to .start across the Atlantic from England to the United States, wilt land at Mineola. the aviation field at Long Island, for the purpose of re-fuelling.
