A raid on an alleged “two up’ school at the freezing works, which is immediately across the river Irom Whakatane, was made by Detective Cooney and Constables Cummings Greenslade and Keepa Wsterday. general scatter took place on the arrival of the police. Several names were taken, also some abandoned money win secured by the police. The gathering is estimated at about 50 persons.
