“THE DANDIES”
Mr John Hopkins will present Mr, Edward Branscombe’s popular body of entertainers '“The Dandies” in the Miners’ Haf.l to-morrow evening. “The Dandies''’ have proved a strong magnet in attracting larg'e audiences in every place visited on the present tour. “The Dandies” need no recommendation. For several seasons these well-known companies, for there are several, have been appearing before New Zealand audiences, and have succeeded in placing themselves well in public esteem, a condition due solely to the high standard of their performances. The company te appear locally to-morrow evening is said to be the brightest combination yet put forward. They excell in company work, and although the excellence of their'individual merits is admitted, yet the bright ensembles and concerted novelties which occupy a prominent place in each programme have had the effect of establishing a great reputation for the artists. The latest revue successes and the most popular numbers from recent musical comodics form a large part of “The Dandies” repertoire, and these are presented with a snap and abandon much appreciated. Popular prices will be charged, and the plan is at Walters’.
