ANOTHER OUTBREAK FEARED OPINION OF CHIEF AUTHORITIES (By Telegraph.—Pre«j Association.) WELLINGTON, thk day. The cluef authorities think that there is every indication that the near future will see a recrudescence of the influenza epidemic. During the past two days there have been 23 notifications in the Danterhury-Westland health district, seven of them severe cases. STEAMER NIAGARA. , A RUMOUR REFUTED. (Rv Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELITNGTON. this day. A cable Ims been received from a passenger on board the Niagara concerning which there have been rumours of a freoh outbreak of influenza. The cable states; ‘‘All well. Clean slop.’' INFLUENZA ON MANUKA. (Uy Telegraph.—Press AssncLt on.) WELLINGTON, chit day. Ten more cases of influenza have develpocd amongst the crew erf the Manuka, and are on Somes Island. There are two other suspects.
