REPORTED OIL DISCOVERY
IN FORMER- GERMAN NEW GUINEA. (Australian and N.Z. Cable.) (Received April 30, S p.m.) MELBOURNE, April 30. Reports are current that great petroleum wells have been discovered ir. the former German portion or New Guinea. The Minister for Home- Affairs, Mr Gdynia, denies that he has knowledge that large flows have been found, but says that reports received some time ago stated that oil seepages were occurring.
